I would not recommend one for the stock turbo as they tend to cause a lot of bov flutter until you move up to a larger turbo...just a fyi.

So when should I get a bov then? Mines stock Evo VIII at the moment. And only mods will be Megan DP, ETS DPB Exhaust, NGK Iridium Spark Plugs, ETS LICP, and an ETS Intak Kit. But I have future plans of at least 500whp with an FP Black or Red.
Should I get any of these?

A Metal IX BOV will suit your mods well, they are good for up to 24-25 PSI and can be found for ~$130 or less. I wouldnt worry about a bigger one until you are ready to make the plunge into a larger turbo / more mods. Oh, and you should add a boost controller / fuel pump to your initial list

Sorry about that....I also am getting both those thing installed...sry failed to mention those. My bad.

Reason im asking is cuz they say the stock evo viii bov is limited. What the highest to boost the stock viii turbo on 93 pump?

Ive got one on my evo with the stock turbo, there is a lotttt of flutter. You either need to be like 1/8th pedal, or all out. Half pedal is a no go. I bought it cause my oem bov leaked like a sieve and my stock turbo is at 30psi and I knew I would be going to a bigger turbo soon anyway.

Its very quiet while driving around, and at wot when it needs to vent it sounds like my friends tial 50mm, it has the same tone, but its still not very loud at all especially being recirculated. I love it.

The 05 has the cheap plastic bov, its barely good for 19-20 PSI. I was running 22 PSI on the stock 8 turbo with 91 and the Metal IX BOV. You can go a little higher with 93, or alot higher if you switch to E85

Get the IX Bov to start out. Sounds pretty good and I'm running 24psi. You could also look into buying a reman IX BOV that can hold more.
