You should have never left and took pics of it where it was sitting. If they didn't want to do anything then you should have told them well if you guys didn't damage the car then I need you to contact the police for me as it appears someone has vandalized my car on your property

That won't get his car fixed....he drove off the lot so he is basically screwed now. He has no evidence except a receipt that they did work. They will say the car was like that before it came in and it's his word against theirs.

Pic doesn't show the dealer...he has no receipt from the dealer, pic doesn't have a date and time on it.....You can try man but there isn't enough evidence to say they did the damage.

I think as long as it's not crack or anything you should be fine. I think you'll be wasting your time reporting it to the cops.

True that....just don't take it there any more. Seems like a shady place if they can't even give you a receipt.

If you have proof, may be the picture, then small claims court.
You need also proof of payment, if cash, then you need the receipt. Credit card statement if you paid that way.
May be someone saw your car before and after, then possibly can serve as an eyewitness.

A last resort would be consumer affairs, then at least the business would be placed on a buyer beware list.

Good luck.

if there is no scratches, dont even waste your time or the businesses time with this. you said it popped back out, so its not bent in permanent. they flex a lot. no big deal.
