Speak to the boss of the shop, they have to fix it for you.

Hell they could say he hit a pot hole or it was like that coming in. you need to be a better informed customer when you buy goods or have services done. You have to take care of #1 and you negected to do that this time around. Next time im sure you will be more responsible and dont go to run of the mile shops with a evo dude seriously.

it was a free tire change.

Define crime?

He's SOL in this situation. They refused to fix any damage. He had 2 choices at that point, get in someones face...or call the police non emergency number.

Perfect scenario: Cops arrive shortly. Explain the situation and what happened. "The lift bent my side skirt, blah blah blah" Cop documents both stories. Police officer provides a copy of the report to the customer. Take it to court, get insurance info, get an attorney..etc.

At this point this is just a lesson learned. Move on and next time USE your tax dollars by calling the police. Everyone talks a mean game on the internet. "Dude I would have went crazy and kicked *** blah blah blah" Says the 120lb 5'4" kid with an evo...so cute.

He probably doesn't know about AWD cars and having the 4 tires with equal as possible tread levels at all times. When the transfercase goes, he'll know why.

it popped back out. end of story. i am not saying that the shop did nothing wrong, but, i have seen cars lifted like that more than a few times. it does no damage in most cases. you have to realize that alot of tire shops use young kids that don't know what the *** they are doing. it's not worth it to pursue this. a lawyer would cost wayyyyy more than a couple of sideskirts. or a full on bodykit for that matter. don't go back to that shop and quit cryin.

I'd go with the court thing if they don't want to fix it. Something similiar happened to me. A shop I went to left a tool in my engine bay after my camshaft install. I drive it 600 miles and my crank angle sensor goes out, snapped my balancer belt, and damaged the timing belt(luckly it didn't snap or skip a tooth). I asked that shop to pay for the damages, they ignored me, I then sent a certified letter requesting payment or be sent to court, they ignored the letter, now i have those bastards served. It's even going to cost them more now since they ignored me. All i had to pay out of pocket was the 39 dollar small claims court fee.

Get a big piece of plywood, write on it that this shop damages vehicles instead of reapiring and just sit in front at the curb for everyone to see. This should let the manager know you mean business and he will be in a rush to pay for the damages or loose business.
Saw a guy do this when he bought a used car, he wrote on it that this dealer only sells lemons, the dealer bought his car back within two hours.
Also if you do it call the local news station maybe they can film it for your local news

are you f-ing serious?
your gonna waste your own time doing this for a car thats not even damaged!!!!

why not just not go back to the shop in the future and leave it at that. people are so irrational. its not like his car is broke, unless the skirt is cracked, its just gonna go back to its normal shape. so nothing is wrong.

they sold me a car with rubber plugs on the 2 rear tires which i didnt notice until i took it home. the plugs were on the side of the tire which is considered dangerous.. i had no other choice but to get new tires for just the rear, cause they sure as hell wasnt going to pay for 4 new ones. i also didnt have any money left over after buying the car.
