I was thinking of doing this since im from CA, and cops here are willing to pull you over for no front plate (like they did to my friend today). Anyways, doesn't the plate scratch the bottom of the bumper?

^ i did the same thing. i've tried using a zip tie, but that didn't last long since my plate started to scratch my bumper. any option to keep cops from bothering me about no front plate is a plus

here was my solution. i'm sure it would work with US plates

took all of 30min and required no "visible" holes

3M Double sided tape.

Been through a whole winter with 15+ snowboarding trips to tahoe. Don't know how it'll hold up to the Sacramento summer though.

Naw because I tuck it in behind the bumper. It's hard to see in these pics but they are all I have because I usually take it off for hard driving or pics.
