Front license plate bracket

I have been searching for a license plate bracket for the evo front bumper that does not require drilling and i have come across the "no holes LPB" kit from gominigo.com. I am currently working with Alan to develop a solution for the evo. Would there be any interest?

Mike

I'd be interested. Would I get something to test it out?

i'll be testing the fit on my front bumper but i can arrange something with the vendor to offer a kit for our cars. I am currently looking at two possible locations to mount the stud which supports the license plate bracket. one being the location of the screw on the driver's side which supports the front bumper cover (i believe it is an M6 screw) while the other location will require slight modification to the grill mesh but will be able to take advantage of an existing hole in the crash beam. I am more inclined and favor the second of the two options because the hole in the bumper beam is larger which will allow for a larger hardware than the skimpy M6 in option 1 and the other reason is the length of the stud will be shorter, thus decreasing bending stresses. hopefully i can take this weekend to define dimensional requirements to procure a kit for test fitment. i will also be working on another project in tandem to quiet down my current exhaust.

Use alcohol to prep the surface and use 3M double sided tape. Then heat it on with a hairdryer or heat gun. I did this on all of my cars that I didn't want brackets on. No holes and they can come off without a trace if you want. As long as you prep it good it will never come off.

suscribe I've seen some that use a weird bracket on the mesh but I took my mesh out over the IC so I'm curious what you come up with
