It's also worth noting that whoever was the first owner, they also took great care of the car. How the new engine/car is treated sets up its reliability for the rest of it's life! Congrats to all who have taken such good care of this car.

That's great man! Gives me faith that my car can also last that long if I take care of it. My Talon lasted about 150k with pretty extensive mods and lots of abuse.

Well congrats on the 200,000 mark. Sucks about the T-Belt.

Are you feeling anything with the tranny on the car? Does it still shift smooth or are you thinking that will be the first major part that needs to be replaced? I worry about mine (6sp) going out sometime soon and I am just over 95k. Wondering if there are any tricks (besides smooth driving) to keeping the tranny going to your level.

No, my transmission seems fine. Really with most of my driving I don't tend to shift much on the highway. When I drive local and spirited, it still seems fine.

I would say just make sure you change your fluid regularly in the trans, you should be good.
