How long would a EVO with turbo upgrade last??
It depends on how wild you are going to go with it. Huge power, probably not that long. 400-500hp my guess is like a couple of years with the right parts and matinence. Al ,( a member on the board aka-DynoFlash) has had his Evo around 3/4 of a year and is running close to 600hp! I'm pretty sure he fried a couple of internal components in the process though... But Al is crazy like that and is has tried many setup's. He has the HKS 3037's kit I'm pretty.
Your best bet is to wait for all of these companies to come out with their stuff, see how they work then make a decision. There are a lot of different setups coming so be patient. That's my $.02

with regular bolt-ons and such i would image it would be equal as factory... now this does depend on whether it's going to see alot of track time... if you run 1-2 lbs of boost higher and tuned correctly i belive the car is worth 200,000 miles...
if you keep up with maintenance like you should, your motor should last just as long as it did with the stock turbo. Providing your running safe boost levels, you can run an upgraded turbo for as long as you want.
I had a 95 Eclipse GS-T running a Forced Performance Green turbo (good for 500hp at the wheels) until i sold it with 120,000 miles. I know the kid who bought it and with 135,000 the car still runs great.
it's all about knowing the limits of the motor and maintaining it properly.
