i have been having this code for awhile now, i erase the code and it will come back in a week, any body else have this code? ive been reading on google that sometimes its just the gas cap?

 

i have the same problem, and i heard the same thing that it could be the gas cap.

 

P0455 is usually a gross leak.

Get to a shop that has a smoke machine.

 

start with changing the gas cap.

 

do a smoke test on ur Gas cap, thts usually the # 1 cause for tht code

so i took the car to the dealer ,it was the gas cap, ofcourse they said they wanna put the car back to stock well thats what the first tech said then they had another tech look at the car and he said we could fix the check engine light with 2 or 3 parts and was gonna cost me $600, so i called the dealer i bought the car from and he sends me to top level performance out in LI they fixed the car and i got the car tuned (dealer paid for all the work) but while i was there i needed to get a new fuel pump and i also got a boost controller ... and the car is actually more powerful ...sorry for such a long post
