Helpt with voltex replica kit

Well as some of you may know, I had this kit on order for a while from a shop in NY. It finaly came in. I thought, and was told, it wouldnt be fiberglass but an FRP type of composite, which I figured is better.

Some of you misunderstood me, I am merely asking what kid is the best bang for the buck, and is flexible, so that it will not crack easily. What replica kit for around 2000 or less.

Something like the dureflex kits, along those lines.

Thanks!

As for those of you asking what my car has power wise right now is

Blitz 4"FMIC
ETS 3" LICP
INJEN UICP
HKS CARBON TI
Custom downpipe/testpipe ( 3")
HKS Intake
Crower 264/260's ( after a long discussion with prev owner, turns out they arent HKS cams but crowers, and small)

I plan on picking up a Meth kit, 272's, Larger injectors, and a dump pipe sometime this week, and studs and springs and retainers, and right around the start of april, go with a full new turbo kit (Not sure, stuck between FP RED, GT35r, or step it up with a PT6262, but I want it to be comfortable and keep a/c), and have this car tuned and set to hit the road by May 1st to carbondale meet.

Are people that stupid nowadays?

Why would I spend 5+K for a bodykit..
Im trying to fit this in as extra into my budget. I'll be making around 520-550 HP when this car's complete, and dont have the extra money to buy authentic stuff, plus its a waste. I'll never recover any of it if I decide to sell the car next year, which I probably will do, and upgrade to a X or just swap scenes, as I constantly am.

Back on topic..
I want a replica.

No you don't. You just have to find a good deal, and the real Voltex kit is not that.

lol i love this arguement. People always cheap out, buy it, and then complain to the moon and back that they got ripped off.

If you want quality, you do have to pay top dollar. *slightly off topic A perfect example, I get a million and one questions on my blog about XenonDepot HIDs I run. I paid 180 almost 200 dollars shipped. And have been running them no problem. But when i look around me for those who refused to buy that kit and cheapped out on so called Japanese A grade kits, all of them are failing.

A solid track record is the best compass when it comes to buying something. Generally people become repeat buyers as well. I dont personally know about voltex, but I know people who have and they have nice things to say about the build quality. yes it cost a fortune, but were their problems, likely not, and if their were, I am pretty sure the manufacture would make damn sure their customers are happen.

I think the rule should be when you cheap out, you are stripped of your right to b!tch about it lol

Well this is a pure example of WTF? You willing to spend $1k to $2k for some Voltex "replica" but don't want the hassle of the fitment? What parts you put on to make that HP above? Sure aint a HAMSTER and SPINNING WHEEL to get that kind of gains! I garauntee to achieve dat you definitly have some "quality" parts put on not no "replica" Cams or "replica" internals? Thats why the Evo community lost their respect...cuz of a prime example of dis Guy^^^ and he probably wants to buy a Lancer GTS and put "RELPICA" X parts on to make it look like one

I got some "voltex" replica pieces for sale. They just look a bit more like the 90's Camaro parts. I just have to work with them a bit, k?

dang, u set up your self for the bashing man, you get what you pay for, you can get away with ebay intercooler pipes or intake, simple stuff like metal piping, like a ebay downpipe is the same as a megan downpipe, just a bent piece of piping, but body kits and body parts will never fit if they are cheap, there is a reason voltex is expensive, if you had bought a voltex kit and it did not fit then by all means you should be upset.

No im not complaining, im just pissed in a sense that I didnt get what I paid for and I am arguing with the place to return this.

I find it pointless to waste thousands for a car that will be DD and tracked.
I want it to look nice, however, and I have had MANY fiberglass products and FRP products on various cars before.

I have one simple question, and that is, what kit is the most bang for the buck replica wise that is legit FRP and flexible, not stiff. Cleary, I dont want voltex quality here, as I dont want to pay for it, and I dont mind the drilling, the bending into shape a little, and all the plastic work and prep that will go into it, I just dont want the really easy to crack stuff and am asking your guys help in which kit or what company sells a good kit...

Thanks!
