I wasn't trying to put miles on, I just don't care about putting them on. I also didn't have a choice at the time. I just try to make every mile a fun one.
as long as the body is in good shape, there can always be an engine rebuild, so props to you my friend for not being a P***Y and driving your car. That shows how bad *** mitsu builds the 4g63, the cleareances and tolerances are perfect for an engine to last this long, i dont care what any one says there is NOTHING like a factory build engine (off course im talking about 4g63 in this case).
I'm with you all the way , I have a 100 mile commute daily and like to enjoy every second.
This is good to hear!
Congrats, My 05 MR has about 60K.
My 04 STI had no major problems either, and it was still on it's first clutch at 131K

Thats good to hear that my car has plenty of life inside of it considering your mileage
Im only at 48,000. Wish I could daily drive mine but this crazy coloardo weather and crazy as hell drivers makes mine a garage queen during winter.

stocker got replaced at 70k with an Exedy stage 1. That was a terrible clutch. Lockout issues like a ****. The Exedy got yanked at 120k and swapped to an ACT HDSS w/streetlite flywheel. I'm on my 3rd clutch. All three clutches have seen plenty of launching, racing, and general beating on a daily basis. of the 3 the stocker was by far my favorite. I should have just gone with another stock setup. so far the ACT is proving to be as good as the stocker, dunno how much better it will end up being. as for that Exedy, it was total garbage. Wish i had never wasted the money on it.
Congrats on the mileage. I considering purchasing one for a daily driver and this is encouraging. Has the car gotten "looser" over time? Have the control arm, steering tie rods, ball joints, suspension joints, etc all gotten soft of needing replacement? What about shocks?

everything still feels tight. i replaced the stock shocks/springs with buddy club racing spec coilovers at around 15-25k (it was so long ago, i can't remember lol).
