pretty much anybody over 25 doesn't matter since that's where the breaks start coming.

i'm 20 paying $245 a month with progressive with a running a red light ticket. progressive seems to be one of the better companies to go with when driving an evo

I'm 28 and I recently switched to Esurance and got some great rates on my Evo and my wife's 03 Murano! I pay about $63 a month for full coverage on my 03 Evo with a $250 deductible. Of course, it probably helps a lot that I'm married and I also get a discount for being a homeowner.

This can't be real!!!??? You must have about 17 DUI's to pay that much for insurance and you must have been really drunk the day that you talked the insurance agent and agreed to pay that much!!! If I paid that much for insurance I'd be riding a bike.

You wanna know the sad part? ITS POSSIBLE!!! My company is supposed to get discounts through Metlife so I called to get a quote when I bought my house to compare and they wanted 6000+ every six months on just the cars and I am 26, homeowner, married and have 2 cars (kia and evo) Oh and a clean record to boot.

Needless to say I stuck with state farm for 200 a month with 0 deductable and life insurance.

There is no way... You would have had to been drunk and crashed into a school bus, then an ambulance, ran through a church, then a school, and into a hospital. And they would all have had to burnt to the ground.

Maybe you should think about getting a Geo Metro. Preferably one that doesn't run...

I paid 750 for 6 mos for 03 evo and 06 acura TSX, full coverage. Thats roughly 62.50 per month per car. The Acura is actually slightly more expensive to insure. Progressive doesnt seem to count the Evo as the performance car that it is. I think they think that the Lancer and Evo are basically the same thing. Im 29, wife is 23, both clean records.

For 14k a year for insurance, I would have no choice but to walk to work. That guy must have been caught raping a police officer while driving 100 over the limit, with 5.00 alcohol limit....every day until he was 21.

unfortunatly it is real..
when i was young i got alot of speeding tickets.. couple running stop signs..
havent had a ticket minus tint and stupid stuff in years..
but in the last 3 year ive had 2 accidents that werent my fault but i claimed them and that counts against me.. I also got a dui last year.. my first one.. that raised it from 9k a year to 14k a year..

na id prefer not to lose the 35k cash i paid for my car and the 15-16k i have into it..
insurance is a must thats y i keep full coverage on the car.. i can control everything i do but there are alot of idiots on the road that i cant control and its not worth it to drive the almost 50k car i have uninsured.. DD ftw and evo moved to "pleasure vehicle" at the end of this year..
