Agreed. The Evo costs me ~$80 per month (46, married, no tickets, homeowner, NY state). For what some of the folks are paying - insurance + car payment - they could have bought a frucking house! It's insane.

~$85 per month. I don't know how/why people pay so much for insurance. Its a scam. I just waited until I was 26 until I bought my first high risk/turbo car.

 

If you can believe it, I pay 220/month on my 04 WRX. My little brother's 350Z gets cheaper insurance than that.

 

Wow... My insurance on my X just went down $20/mo. Now I only pay $94/mo. I pay $69/mo for my Tacoma, and $15/mo for my bike.

 

I used to be paying around that (even more for the first few months I owned the car). I'm down to 130/month now and that's with a big speeding ticket on my record. The sad part is insurance was just as much on my old Ford Taurus. Lots of break ins/accidents in my town drive the rates through the roof.

 

I cannot wait til I can have insurance for nothing a month. I pay $420/month for full coverage right now!!!! I have D dub on my record from 3 years ago and its still raping me. Im 24, I have USAA, and they are the lowest I've found. Most people shouldn't feel too bad about paying seemingly "high" insurance rates.....Just think about what you could be paying like me. Trust me, it could be worse. Haha.

 

blame NY, we are getting raped over here. Mine just went up too this year. no accidents, no tickets, over 25, still paying around 200 a month

I pay 107/month for full coverage on my 05 evo in NJ

 

I just got my renewal thing and it went up 10 bucks for me. I pay $193 now for 3 cars where i was paying 182.

 

I pay $310 a month and that's with a 20% down payment with a perfect driving record but I'm only 20 lol.

 

unfortunately it all depends on your location, age, driving record, and gender (sorry guys, you're getting screwed).

i'm 27 with a ‘06 evo 9 (full coverage, $1000 deductible) and i get an extra discount cuz of my townhouse and a clean record too...i only pay $85/month for everything with Travelers. i searched around too, and continue to do it every year, yet Travelers is still the cheapest for me.

also depends on wut coverage u have. basic better and premuim. some people that have the lower prices migt have the lower coverage or meduim. i got premuim so i pay more. but better safe then sorry

 

I'm 27, no accidents and no tickets
With All State I have 100/300k coverage with $1k deductibles and I'm paying $160 a month.
I think too many Evo's have been wrecked which is why we pay what we do.
On my previous Audi S4 I was paying $88 for the same coverage through Progressive.
