Has anyone installed the beatrush license plate bracket on their evo8? Any installed pics? My stock mount needs to go, I want something flush against the bumper.

I have a buschur race FMIC so fitment is tight. I don't have the stock metal frame attached to the far left (passenger-most) side, just the upright part and the one facing up on the right side (as you face it).





Again remember, this is for an evo8, not 9.

I figure someone's gotta homebrew this. I just got a new front bumper and a new front lip. I zip-tied the plate to the holes at the bottom of the bumper since I don't have the lip on yet, with the top of the plate zip-tied to the grill. It misses most of the IC rather well. But it can't last. Someone's HAD to have come up with something for this, preferably removable for race days???

 

I zip tied mines onto the lower front grill, right in front of the intercooler. Even though its blocking the intercooler I dont feel any difference in performance. i figure the plate is too small to matter anyways.
