Roof Vinyl's?

i came across roof vinyls for sale on ebay and across another site. i drive a white evo 8 and think a blacked out roof would look alot better. but these vinyls seem very cheap and ive never heard of evos doin it. does anyone have pictures or comments about them, thanks

Do you have a sunroof - that would def complicate things. I wouldn't say this is easy but it is much cheaper than paint and removable.

But if he wanted to remove it in the future then paint would need to be redone.

You could just get some from your local vinyl store, or a shop that wraps cars.

I dunno about just having your roof a different color. i would need to see a pic.. but i agree that if you do it, do it right. Paint all the way.

i say go for it. i went the painted route when i had my carbon hood/trunk combo. i got rid of that stuff, but kept the black roof/vg. still looks great. either way you decide, vinyl/paint, do it. it looks good on pretty much any color.

Get vinyl first, see if you like it.

If you do like it, and want it permanent, get it painted black. No harm in testing the waters.

Agreed, vinyl is a good test or temp solution. Some cars with black roof look so badass.

I have a white VIII and i have a sunroof. I got a black vinyl and it came out perfect. It was very easy to do and the reason i did it was because i can always take it off. I will get you a picture. I have a cf hood so it kinda matches the scheme. I had a white vortex generator but just got a cf one to match also, but later down the road, i can always change everything back
