most likely gonna run a 6262 and thank you for pointing out the SD i completely forgot about the fact that theres no room for a maf... just an excuse to go to SD haha but is the reason you go to SD because theres no room for a maf or is there another reason there?

There is definitely no room for a MAF. With SD you can run with or without a filter as well

looks like its time to start working towards SD then... what is needed to convert to SD?

4 or 5Bar map sensor
GM AIT sensor
Ecu pins
Spoolin-UP harness(Not necessary but made for easier install)
Hooking up the sensors
Tuning

i've wanted to try it but I hear it takes a while to set-up.

so you need the two sensors then wire it up to the ecu, is it an open pin on the ecu or do you tap a wire? then weld the bung on the IC piping and then tune?

The AIT goes to the ground and to the Ecu where the Fuel Map sensor goes and its welded in your UICP or IM

The map sensor goes in place of your existing one in the IM

haha the set up doesnt seem like it can be to heard, now tuning it is a completely different story haha i would never even attempt to tune my car on stock ecu let alone stock ecu with SD haha

Diiirk has the SD tuning down solid. Sets it up in no time and can have your car driving better than it ever did on MAF. I mean even the 909 Hp Bastard evo idles at 14.7-15.2 with ID 2000s injectors.

damn that sicks i was wondering if their car was tuned on sd or not but thats sick, i hate the maf its so damn sensitive
