cool vid, ams shift knob is the most bad *** to me. Ive used several and it makes a ridiculous difference. but to each his own.

 

I grab the shift knob properly depending on which way I'm shifting, this would be completely pointless to me. But it looks cool. Especially for drag racing or sequential shifting.

 

from my experience, the STi is a lot harder to tell what gear it is in... maybe that is his way of checking?

I am too tall to rock this shift knob. I would prefer to shift with my hand on top, not facing forward..

 

They sell those things at advance auto parts, my buddy has one on his trans am, theyre alright, but ill stick with my blox racing ball weighing in at over 1lb.

Yeah, I remember mine. 1st mod was to get a 2g knob.

That shifter would annoy the heck out of me. I'm from the video arcade/Street Fighter 2 generation so I shift like I play arcade games.
