performance mods vs. weight mods

Which is more valuable right now. I'm on the stock turbo and looking to max it out on e85. I am thinking either going with IM, o2 housing and throttle body for performance mods. Or mustache bar eliminator, front cross bar, wheels, and drive shaft. my current mods are
AMS FMIC
kelford 272s
Tab fab IC piping w/ tial bov
Tab fab 3" cat back
Megan 3" dp
1200cc pte injectors
walbro 255
small bat kit

my car on the scales is around 3k even.
Let me know what you guys think would be best.

To quote sir Colin Chapman:

"Adding power makes you faster on the straights. Subtracting weight makes you faster everywhere."

I'm sure you know this, but the braking system is an excellent place to start for weight reduction.

I say mods. You will need ARP headstuds, fuel rail, Air intake, boost controller, and prolly a better clutch if you want to do an E85 build. I would also go scoop up a IX turbo or an FP while you are at it

seems weight is the majority
JJ I do have head studs, intake and I have a electronic boost solenoid. Clutch is next on the list which will shed some weight. Looking at quartermaster clutch.

I don't think I am going to go much below 2900 lbs but that is the goal.

I would concentrate a bit of attention to the reduction of rotating mass on your car. I'm personally looking into which wheels and tires are going to give me the best weight reduction (which is the reason why I'm not "upgrading" to 18" rims).

If you use your car for road racing then go with weight mods, if you drag race then go with weight mods which might help gas mileage a little.

Now, that's a good idea. It'll make a much bigger difference next to a mustache bar, cross bar, etc.

get rid of rotating mass. go with a small brake kit, awd alum driveshaft, and with those you will see more power out of the car also due to the less mass. win win situation.
