If you drag race your Evo, it's not a matter of if your front diff will go but when. Ive already replaced mine twice. It's got a spider gear diff in it now so hopefully I wont have to dick with it for a while. Im sure Ill be under the car replacing other parts before too long. So yes, you drive your car hard, You break stuff, you rebuild it, repeat. Ive known several people who think that these cars are built for launching and each one has had the pleasure of replacing different drivetrain parts.

Jeez took y ou 6-7 hours to remove?

I can have the trans and tcase out in 2 hours max.

id like to see that

def had to of dumped the clutch, the car is basically stock so its not like your making crap load of torque or anything

oh well, first time 6-7 hours im pretty satisfied with that, i've read threads on here ppl saying it took them 10-12 hours..

Do u guys think i should send in my transmission as well, just to be safe? i dont think there is anything wrong with it, it seems pretty fine, it did drive me home 3 miles absolutely fine..

will doo, transfer case should be sent out to shep hopefully tomarrow..

theres been a lot of rumors that shepherd is very very backed up, he told me about a week so im satisfied with that.. think thats very reasonable time.
