I wouldn't recommend buying another beater/car. Your just paying more for insurance. If you can't afford to keep the evo, sell it and you can always buy another one later on.

The roads around here suck and don't compliment her very well. I have found some good deals on some trucks including a hummer h3. I just hope that I am not making a grave mistake. It took me so long to finally get one and now I might be parting with her. I currently have For Sale signs on her and I really don't know if I am going to go through with it.

Any advice or comments would be fine.
I know people that have traded their evo for other cars and trucks and end up regretting it shortly after. The evo just has a feel to it that no other car I have ever driven compares to. And ive driven many fast and expensive cars and trucks. You should think about what you want and need out of a car and see if its really something you want to do. As they say the grass always seems greener on the other side of the fence. You might like an H3 or whatever you get at first but the second you hit the twisties you are going to miss the evo.

The roads in Orange County suck for the Evo? Really??

Where exactly are you from, because I live there as well, and have a great time in mine. I love the roads, and variety of places I can take her and have some fun.

Agreed. I used to live in Dutchess County, plenty of nice driving around. Take a trip to Bear mountain, and you'll never want to sell your Evo.

Don't sell the Evo, dude. Just buy a used car for a daily driver. It's a buyers market after all.

+1, and +1 for a beater its been my experience that if you drive conservatively its amazing how long cars can last.

I am currently in Oneonta NY. And the roads here are horrible.

I have found a nice deal on a 2007 A4 2.0 Turbo. It is certified pre-owned and right in my price range. I have driven another one and of course it is no evo, but it isn't going to a truck. I will have some fun but idk. Im just looking at my options in my price range.

The reason I don't want a beater is A. another car to insure. and B. I have already owned a beater and it is exactly that, it was more of a headache than anything. I am just taking my time with this decision. I also think that I could pick up another evo later down the road.

Do whatever you want. Sell the car if you think it is right.
