Selling the Evo?
Hey guys, haven't been on here in a long time. I have been stuck in a hole (school) and I am just starting to climb out. I am currently thinking about selling my Evo 9. Key work is thinking though. Where I live now and the company I work for the car is becoming a little bit of a hassle to drive. Worrying about it every night because she is currently outside. The roads around here suck and don't compliment her very well. I have found some good deals on some trucks including a hummer h3. I just hope that I am not making a grave mistake. It took me so long to finally get one and now I might be parting with her. I currently have For Sale signs on her and I really don't know if I am going to go through with it.
Any advice or comments would be fine.

The roads in Orange County suck for the Evo? Really??
Where exactly are you from, because I live there as well, and have a great time in mine. I love the roads, and variety of places I can take her and have some fun.

Why would you ever ever ever ever buy an H3. There's a reason they are dirt cheap. If you are planning on something like you can can pick up an early 00' Expedition for 3k or less and keep the Evo as it sounds like you want to (or else you wouldn't be posting asking strangers to convince you to keep it)

I am gettin a civic hatch as soon as I graduate for my DD. just need something around 40mpg, gut it for more, custom made (by me) roll cage so I dont die if i get hit, and call it a day.
I know people that have traded their evo for other cars and trucks and end up regretting it shortly after. The evo just has a feel to it that no other car I have ever driven compares to. And ive driven many fast and expensive cars and trucks. You should think about what you want and need out of a car and see if its really something you want to do. As they say the grass always seems greener on the other side of the fence. You might like an H3 or whatever you get at first but the second you hit the twisties you are going to miss the evo.
I am currently in Oneonta NY. And the roads here are horrible.
I have found a nice deal on a 2007 A4 2.0 Turbo. It is certified pre-owned and right in my price range. I have driven another one and of course it is no evo, but it isn't going to a truck. I will have some fun but idk. Im just looking at my options in my price range.
The reason I don't want a beater is A. another car to insure. and B. I have already owned a beater and it is exactly that, it was more of a headache than anything. I am just taking my time with this decision. I also think that I could pick up another evo later down the road.
