Unhappy Selling the Evo?

Hey guys, haven't been on here in a long time. I have been stuck in a hole (school) and I am just starting to climb out. I am currently thinking about selling my Evo 9. Key work is thinking though. Where I live now and the company I work for the car is becoming a little bit of a hassle to drive. Worrying about it every night because she is currently outside. The roads around here suck and don't compliment her very well. I have found some good deals on some trucks including a hummer h3. I just hope that I am not making a grave mistake. It took me so long to finally get one and now I might be parting with her. I currently have For Sale signs on her and I really don't know if I am going to go through with it.

Any advice or comments would be fine.

Why would you ever ever ever ever buy an H3. There's a reason they are dirt cheap. If you are planning on something like you can can pick up an early 00' Expedition for 3k or less and keep the Evo as it sounds like you want to (or else you wouldn't be posting asking strangers to convince you to keep it)

I agree with SavEVOIX, A car like an EVO is where you spend your money, transporation like SUVs or trucks are more like utility vehicles you drive and then get rid of when you are done with them unless you are really a truck culture person which still does not make sense to get something really cool only to drive all of the value out of it. For $3-5K a lot can be found that will do the job and you could keep the EVO - you will regret selling after looking for so long to have one IMHO.

h3 = garbage!

I owned a 99 ranger xlt 3.0 v6 5 speed and it was awesome, put 12k miles on it, had to sell it because no more need for it out here in AZ. Was a great truck! No problems at all.

i agree with erald. Buy a truck for like 2k and keep the evo. See it alot when some one sells they always end up back on the forum with a new evo lol. Not to mention you have electric blue which is rare and in my opinion the best color evo made

Buy a beater. Keep the Evo.

As for the outside situation, you can always just get a car cover for the elements, and an alarm for security.

I agree. Its just a car. Not worth headaches if they overshadow the fun parts of the car.

Agreed. No point in owning it any longer if you're not enjoying it.
