New evo owner needs help...

I bought an 03 evo from a dealer yesterday. It has an exhaust, I'm assuming downpipe intake piping HKS blow off valve, and I'm not sure what else. But what I am asking about here is there was a plug that was connected to the OBD II port with what looks like a 16 pin plug on the other side any idea what it is?

When my wife gets home I will go out and take pictures of both ends. One end is plugged into the OBD II and the other is run under the center console. There is two plugs in the back seat and I'm not sure which end is the other end. The other plug is running up to a small TV under the climate controls.

I looked at it and test drove it. I couldn't see what kind of exhaust was on it though and I didn't notice the cable until I was trying to figure out what the previous owner used the second TV screen for and was following the cable. Its lowered to but I haven't check with what. I wasn't about to take to much time. I didn't want my wife to change her mind and their were more then a few people looking at the car. It's an 03 with 59k miles and was only 15k. I figured I'd buy it and sort the little things out later. It also has some strange security feature I need to get rid of also before it leaves me stranded. ANYWAY heres the cables. I think the one with the USB attached is from the TV screen and the other is a 9 pin female I believe.

Any ideas? I been looking and I can't find a match yet. I'm gonna put the car in the garage tomarrow and start taking things apart and figure some things out. I also gotta figure out why the cigarette lighter isn't working.

It looks almost like something where you would plug the USB and the Monitor from a laptop into the car and it would display on that screen (digital gauges) or something along those lines

Looks like a connection for ur laptop so you can hook it to your wideband and log your air to fuel ratio. One less thing for you to do. Lol. Does it have a wideband?

It looks like the tactrix cable and a wideband cable...do you have any pics of the plug that connects to the obd2 port itself?

I don't have a picture right now but I can describe it. It black little larger then the obd port itself and is like 3 inches long and says "OBD II" real big on it. The car does have an AEM wideband installed but its not working at the moment. It doesn't turn on or light up at all. That's another thing I wanna check out and try to get working.

Forgot to take a picture of the OBD II cable but I did make some progress in cleaning up the mess under the dash. I did notice though that it has two green LEDs on that light up when plugged in and it does have a 9 pin female on the other end. I also got the AEM a/f gauge working. I don't know if its accurate though since it is giving me the exact same readings as the Apexi turbo timer...I thought those weren't accurate at all. I didn't get a chance to jack up the car though and take a look at anything under there. Cars to low to get the jack under. Anyone know any good tricks for low cars? I thought about driving it up onto a couple pieces of wood then trying to get the jack under but I ran out of time and had to go home. Thanks for all your help.
