Clunk/Pop when decelerating/turning left

Ok, I did a quick search last night and found some related possible causes to my problem. I'll try to explain this as detailed as possible to narrow down some issues. I went on an hr long drive to a buddies house yesterday and when I got back home I noticed a clunking/poping sound when turning left at lower speeds and when braking/free motor decelerating on the drivers side front wheel area. This mostly occurs under 15-20 mph. Driving over bumps at normal speeds I dont hear it. There is no rythm to the sound either, just kind of clunks at random. Things I suspect after searching, swaybar endlinks, pillowmount, cv joint, axle?, anything else? I'm really hoping this is an easy fix. Should I stop driving the car until I figure out the problem? I will be taking the wheel off and inspecting today. The car has just rolled over 35k as well.

Thanks for all input.

Ok, noise seems to be going away.... It doesn't do when slowing down anymore. I'm still gonna take the wheel off and inspect things like, cv boot, axle, strut, pillowmount, swaybar endlinks and whatever else I can find.

I had something similar just after installing my suspension. I checked everything. I just went away. I believe it was a minor bind in the spring/strut assembly that eventually worked itself out.

Yeah, Good luck. It drove me nuts for a couple of weeks. Was the front right corner. I double checked all bolts, reconnected the sway bar on both sides a few times, checked the tie rods and CV joints ... everything was fine. 2 years later it's still quiet and it takes a beating at autocross pretty often.

Stay positive.

Thanks for the kind words, I hope everything is fine. I was on some pretty rough roads on my drive home last night. Maybe it just needed to be driven

Almost every car that has this type of problem is usually caused from ripped and torn boots, and/or loose bolts. Check those!
