Am I missing out on power?

My car currently has a Ebay O2 housing, Helix DP, Mil Spec 100 cell cat (theres no emissions here in Iowa) and a Greddy SP2 exhaust. Im wondering if I were to get a new turbo back/cat back I could make more power than the Greddy exhaust? If so is it worth the money to upgrade?

Since there's no emission why not delete the cat go with a test pipe that will make the biggest difference in your exhaust system.

The only way you would gain any power increase would be to run a test pipe instead of a hfc. I do not find it worth the money to get a new TBE.

A new catback would probably not make too much difference. +1 on test pipe

I'd put a full test pipe on it. The SP2 is restrictive inside of the resonator and the muffler, but it is nice and quiet. I have it myself and refuse to give up the sound for a lighter and possibly better flowing exhaust.

if you put the wing back on, you'll gain at least 33% more torque

Thanks for such an awesome Informational post. I wasn't asking if I should get a 4 inch tip super cool jdm exhaust yo! I'm just trying to find out if it's a good option to change my exhaust setup. Seems test pipe is the general answer thanks guys. I really like the sound of my SP2 it's nice and quiet. I appreciate not causing a scene with a loud exhaust.

Test pipe...and a good tune. Cat backs (in general) are all about the same.

With the difference you would spend on another exhaust why not get a MBC/EBC and a vibrant+filter setup (or K&N drop in). $200 or less....

I have a greddy SP2 exhaust myself. It is very quiet but is a bit restrictive. It is not a true 3 inch exhaust and necks down in a couple of places. I remember reading a thread a while back where someone changed out the SP2 for a true 3 inch exhaust and gained 16 whp.
