Greddy Evo II

Did a search and couldn't find anything...

I read in a post from 2007 that the Evo II exhaust had to be modified by an exhaust shop to fit our Evo's. Is this still the case or did they modify the exhaust design to be a direct fit.

Also does anyone have any sound clips of this exhaust installed? I can't seem to find any

Thanks.

Easy install, fits perfect. Sounds good. Sound varies on whether you have a cat or not. Completely different depending on your setup. With a cat, it sounds stock. without, its a bit more aggressive, but still nothing too crazy. At work, so cant make you a sound clip. Sorry.

I had a Greddy Evo II on my IX if fit perfectly. I modified the exhaust only because to remove the bottle neck from the where mid pipe connects to the cat.

The cat will be gone. I'm wanting something a bit louder then stock, but not too loud.

Have it, and agree with everyone above. I did nothing to the slight size reduction by the cat area. The only thing that I'd try to change (and will later) is the stock style bends before the muffler. Going to try and make it a little straighter. It is quiet until 4000rpm then gets louder. Freeway 65mph no problem with hearing the radio and having conversation at normal voice levels.

Even for JDM rear, the Evo2 fits fine. The exhaust is slightly louder than stock but nothing too dramatic. Shameless plug but I have one for sale .
