Lowering the car with an SE lip
Just a bit worried here.. I ordered my Swift Spec-R's and am a little paranoid about the front lip as far as getting in and out of places and going over bumps. These springs drop the front about 1.4 inches and I'm scared I'm going to wipe out my lip over a bump, lol.
I understand I will need to slow down and in same cases go crooked (I had a lowered eclipse) but am just looking for some input on that much of a drop with the SE lip. Anyone have any issues major issues?

If you are careful about it, your lip should be fine. Your zero lift kit, however, is another story. I've been on Swift MRs and now Ohlins. Had Chad@CBRD set up the Ohlins a bit higher but the damage on the zero lift kit is done; and there's no undoing it.
PS: Zero lift kit = plastic... not exactly the end of the world here. I am debating going to a Beatrush undertray now, or replacing OEM to keep access to the oil filter easy.

on the scraping part i think you will scrape quite often. my car is stock ride height and i scrape occasionally even when being careful
I've already trashed my lip. A new one is on the list. I have an SE on swift sports. It still holds together good enough to stay on for now. You definitely have to keep it in mind we don't have the best roads around here.
I think I'm going with a rexspeed carbon fiber SE lip next time.
