Car will not start once turned off and try to restart on hod days
Ok I need some suggestions but i'm guessing it might be the fuel pump. Recently it's been hotter and I notice this problem the other day when I went to lunch. I drove the car to the restaurant go in and pick up the food come out and start the car. The car starts, then it dies. As if it ran out of gas. I wait 10-15 mins try again and bam the car starts. I drive back to work and park, I was curious so I shut it down and tried to restart again and it did the same thing. WTF!!! I went inside for work and after finished eating come back out to try and start it again and bam, it starts gain. Anyone experience this problem at all?

If you can borrow a fuel pump from someone just to troubleshoot, that would be the best way. Pump is not hard to swap out. I'd be willing to loan you out of my evo just so you can test it, stryderlis since that's my 2nd car. It would suck to get stranded by a $80 pump. If not get an O-scope and hook it up to your fuel pump relay see if it's getting correct voltage to your pump, hopefully relay is not the issue.

Check for the sound of the pump priming before starting the car. If you don't hear it, you've narrowed it down. Check the relay then pump, because sometimes relays can be sensitive to weather when old.
