4WD Service Required???

i got a service required light with 4wheel showing the front 2 where moved to the right, i drove like a mile with the light and shut the car down then i started the car again and the light goes away. Bu then a couple of days later i was driving for about 2-3 miles. The Light came back on. Then i restarted the car and it went away.

Its really on and off. Its still goes on and off. Which is bugging the crap of out me.

i checked the reservoir which is in the trunk and its also full??
any ideas??

I'm trying to avoid the steelership.

Any Help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Steven

I have the same problem as you described, I heard it might be a pump issue. Im going to go to the dealer and check it out this week, ill tel you what happens if you dont get a response by then.

If the light goes off when you re-start the car, it's a fluid viscosity warning. If the light stays on after re-starting the car its a pump issue. (Per Owner's Manual, just not verbatim).
I personally have had this light go off 3 times. Each time my heart jumped into my throat (totally understand), pulled over, re-started the car, everything was fine). The one other thing I've heard that can set this off is if you have worn out tires on the front/back and place new tires on the other half of the car. The larger diameter of brand new tires can make the AWD system ask "WTF?"

my light would go off every time I restarted my car. I had to have the pump replaced to fix the issue. This was after the cold weather reflash.

There is a software pdate that may need to be done and the fluid may be low , I had to update the software and top off the fluid , I got the warning with 3k miles. It freaked me out and I work at the dealer ship...
All is well now.
Just do to the dealer and they should be able to get it done.

Do you have a TSB for that? I've heard the 08-09 4B11's need a flash for cold weather, but nothing about the 10's+?

Hey guys,
So i went to the dealership this morning. They told me that the thing that is causing the problems are my front camber kit. They also charge me $140 and told me because of my camber kit it wasnt covered .
I asked them what if i remove my camber kit and the light still comes on? They told me to remove the camber kit and put the stock bolts back on and bring it back to them.
But $140 for inspection? WTF!!!!

Damn i should just have waited. for you guys to respond.

What do you guys think i should do now? Remove my camber kit and bring it back to them?

I'm guessing that they don't want to replace the pump?

there's no way that aftermarket camber bolts are causing this, bring it to another dealership.

That's dated September 2009 so it wouldn't show 2010's
