i contacted a dealer about leasing one and he said there would be no problem in doing so, they just think the bmw will be safer, which it prob would be maybe... in the crash test

well, the M3 will actually lose more value in money-wise while the Evo will lose more value percentage-wise. Think about it, the M3 is 20K more.

reread ur post...u said e36 M3...someone already took the depreciation value so the E36 will lose less in value than the Evo. But consider the Evo as the first shipment ever to the US and will not know if they'll come anymore (they should but u never know), I believe the Evo is a good buy. The Evo looks nicer than the E36 M3 IMO and it has AWD. Makes a winter "beater" as well as a summer car. Roomier too but BMW has class.

yea, and tell them that if something goes wrong with your evo, you have a couple thousand people on the internet helping you troubleshoot

i read somewhere on these boards that some1 leased an evo and the residual value was costed at 8k after 60 months!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanna hear some more feedback from others that are leasing to confirm or deny this. Post can be found here:

my mom and dad practicly boughtme my s2000, but now i got the evo, im payin for the evo myself im 17 now and i do agree a honda would have better resale value but its a sacrifice for a great car
