F*CK Raccoons!!!!... I was driving home on the freeway at about 75 MPH when look down to change the song on my cd player, when suddenly i feel a huge thud. I look at my gauge cluster and notice that my rpm's were at 0. I coast to the side f the freeway and inspect my car to find a 8 x 12 chunk taken out of my front bumper with assorted fluids dripping onto the asphalt. I look a little closer and see small patches of blood and hair resembling raccoon hair. I call AAA and get my vehicle towed to a body shop where i get a $2400 bill to fix it. Luckily by insurance deductible is $500. Sorry, but i just had to vent!

 

Yeah that sucks. I'm always afraid a small animal will eat my intercooler up if I hit them.

 

Man, that sucks. I hit a rabbit once in my s2000. Luckily it only broke the cf lip which was about $350 out of pocket.

yea same thing happened to me only difference is that it was a dead dog on the freeway broke my oil pan and front bumper...

 

intact tire going 70 leads to cracked lip/messed up alignment,dented exhaust, luckily only the oil line jacket was torn
