I am trying to find a magazine from the summer of 2007 that had a few Evo's running 50+psi...Its was the main article and the cover page.......anyone with some info?

i'm not sure exactly what month it was...i was in iraq that year and remember reading it sweating my *** off outside...and i left iraq at the end of july so somwhere around that time

 

I dunno if you could find back issues of that since SCC is no more...

I have that issue as well, actuallly... I have every issue of SCC since March 98 lol.

Since my following question is technically not OT while we're talking magazines, does anyone remember which Import Tuner issue had Chad Block's TA evo on the cover? I've been looking around for it like a nut.

THAT IS THE CORRECT MAGAZINE!!!! LOL i couldnt see the image good on the govt computer now that i am on my laptop that def is the magazine i am looking for

 

Kinda on topic but does anyone know why Turbo stopped making mags? I thought they were the most technical of all the mags.

 

I think they were owned by the same company as SCC and Modified and they had too many magazines that were very similar. Economy played a role too, I believe. Some of the guys from SCC are with Modified now, and it's a really good, technical magazine. If you liked Turbo or SCC, you will like Modified.

 

Well I don't know you but that's good enough for me lol. I have a few issues people have sent me but I haven't really READ them more just looked at the cars.

But I'm ordering a 2 year sub now.

 

You won't be disappointed. And at some point, they plan on bringing back the Ultimate Street Car Challenge that SCC used to do. Plus each issue almost always has something evo-related.
