You mean permanently? I would imagine you would lose a lot of power.

if its a short drive (like 5 miles) to the exhaust shop then you should be fine, as long as a cop doesn't see you
oh and the car is going to drive like dog crap

It's so hard NOT to flame away on this... but I won't. I would recommend driving your exhaustless car past your local police station.

dont do it
you wont gain any power and your car will just be ungodly loud, but im assuming you just want the attention if your asking about this. what good is a loud car if it isnt fast?

you wont need a tune if you do it either, but if you take the catback off, then you wont have a place to put your rear o2 sensor so your car will run like sh*t

Wrong. Your car wont run like crap because the rear o2 sensor has nothing to do with how your car runs. Your car will run fine but its gona be extremely loud.

You will gain some power but not much because your getting rid of backpressure.

I had my exhaust off for an amount of time because I put on a JDM rear and didn't feel like welding mine at the time. It ended at the front/midsection of the car and NO it was not that loud. It was surprisingly quite...quiter than most with an exhaust actually. And yes, you will gain a tad bit of power.

If you get pulled over just make up some BS story about how it just fell off...that's all I did.

I think that some cars will go into a "limp mode" if it doesn't detect the rear O2

how will it have no power? like mentioned the rear o2 only monitors cat efficiency and does NOT make any kind of adjustments. i've seen dumber responses than the original question...
