All JDM heads are HID. You use your existing factory HIDs with them.

Why not just get them from Driveline and support a vendor at the same time? They even have a better price, and you know you can trust them.

Gruppe is a vendor. I'm sure Driveline and Gruppe have 'PM' specials.

i went to the driveline website and it still says the same thing "no wiring, bulbs, or electronic equipment included" I think its just the housing and you need to buy the after market HID's or I'm wrong?

I realize that also, I was just suggesting Driveline in reference to the OP.

OP, you are asking a lot of questions in very bad order. Here I'll help you since I did the conversion on my RS.
1. Buy JDM housings (driveline, gruppe-s, your favorite seller, etc etc)
2. If you car has OEM HID's, swap components, plug and play.
2a. If it doesn't, buy OEM ballasts and bulbs, the housing comes with wiring. Then you need to find a plug from a HID equipped car, because your halogen plug will not work.
2b. Or you can buy an aftermarket HID kit, just make sure is comes with a D2S bulb, not any of that "rebased" hid bulbs.
3. Plug everything and enjoy blinding oncoming traffic

PS: the leveling motor will work if you have the switch and OEM wiring for it.

yes, there is issues, because the left headlight aims higher, only thing you can do to fix that is open the headlights and replace the projectors.
An aftermarket ballast will plug in whatever way the aftermarket kit was meant to be plugged, it won't plug directly to your car and neither will the OEM ballast if you don't have HID already. You would need to find the wiring from a donor HID evo.

Wow, I dunno if this is absolutely the case under all possible circumstances. Go ahead and make these broad generalizations however, as i don't think that anyone is likely to argue with your blanket statements.
