Wished Motorex or RB would import EVO's
Established companies
Then maybe I'll decide to send off $30,000+ while waiting for the car
I have to give props to the people who forked over that kinda $$$ to EI
Takes BIG ***** of STEEL to have trust like that for a company that's not established

Man, lay off of the SMT crack pipe please! j/k!

But I do see you writing about it in just about every one of your posts. Unfortunately, you will probably NEVER see an SMT in an EVO.

If you want one that bad, maybe you need to look at the M3 or something. A manual clutch is not a really bad thing you know!

I doubt it will come here, and if so he will probably take the money and run. I wouldnt prebuy one that cannot be used on our roads, and its right hand drive.

We have a petition into the US DOT and NHTSA to allow this vehicle to be sold to US clients for legal street use. You can refer to this petition on the NHTSA site with petition number 15470. Please call for more information. **Reserve price is set for the vehicle remaining right hand drive and does not include any freight duties or taxes.

Wut the hell/\

If you really want an MR, go to Germany, buy one there, drive it for a couple of weeks and then bring it here. There are a couple of companies in CT (I think) that can federalize the car. Now before you all get crazy on me, this car could be imported as a Lancer Evolution and given a US VIN as such. Can't happen? Ask any number of servicemen who've done it. The reason I say to go to Germany for it is twofold: 1) they are usually one of the first countries to get new Evos and 2) their spec is usually closest to US spec (ie LHD, crash protection, etc.). I am sure it would be a little costly (I think the licensing place charges 15% of the value, so figure around $5,000), but it's possible...

looks like mitsu is noticing the first thing that you guys do to the exterior. s2k antenna, smoked out headlamps and tails. and i wish that we could have the steering wheel on the right hand side. it is just so different and i think that it would be funny to be driving down the road and somone looks over at you driving on the right side of the car.

Evolution Imports are at it again - 2004 MR Evo VIII

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43919

ahahahah... what a crock..... how do these guys continue?

On their website http://www.evolutionimports.com/ they list a PO box as their address...

Look under the "used cars" section... they claim to have sold a handfull of cars.... wonder of those suckers have their cars yet? They all appear to be Honda Type R's that were never brought into the usa.

how the hell did my thread about Evolution imports get merged with this other thread which was about the car????

Mine was more directed at EI ripping more people off, not about the car so much!!!!!!

Why are threads merged like that? It defeated the purpose of my thread!
