Yes the wiggle and press factor. LOL no really we just did three clutchs in two weekends on the garage floor. All three times we had to have someone push on the end of the tranny while having someone wiggle it a bit. Some people will recommend using the bolts to "draw" it on but that is a bad idea, especially since you could break the mount holes for the transmission. Feel free to PM me if you have any other issues.

precisely. it is a PITA. i promise that one cant push hard enough to do any bad damage. it is just as hard as seperating it

I have seen bad results many times with tightening the bolts to fill the gap. Start a few bolts to align and hold the tranny in place and push in right left and up and down. If it does not mate you have other issues. Do not try the bolt tightening method.

I've never gotten the clutch fork stuck and I've done quite a few transmission pulls. Did you properly release the TOB when removing the transmission? Did you replace the TOB? Something isn't right if the clutch fork got stuck.

no i did not replaced TOB, you think that could be the issue?

I took her out by using flat screwdriver, prying on the wedge colar and TOB, just like in evo moto writeup. I should be able to move the fork by hand right?

I guess I've been lucky over the past several years, I've never had that happen.

Yes until you re-seat the clip, you should be able to move the fork and TOB by hand. Unless you have a low mileage car I would replace the TOB. You don't want to take it all back apart for a $40 part.

Also don't seat the clip until the transmission is all the way bolted up. That way if you need to draw it back off you don't have to fight it.
