"Is that a Real Evo?"
Lot's of people here don't know about the pre-X Evos, since those were the first ones available to buy new from a dealer in '08. I get asked all the time if mine is an '08, and when I tell them it's an '06 they give me a weird look 
Could be worse I was in a Advance Auto parts a couple months ago and I got out of my car while it was still running. I have mild HKS 264/272 cams which don't really lope that loud, but you can still hear it a decent amount. A guy inside said "you're car sounds like it's running bad!" I replied with "it's got cams, it'll be ok." He responded with "you can put cams in a 4cylinder?" Sounding shocked at the proposed statement. I replied with "a couple of them, yeah!" And continued with my purchase and left. Shook my head a bit about that one.
And also it's WAY harder to tell the difference between a CZ4A Evo and Lancer than the CT9A Evos. I see Lancers all the time I think are Evo's from a distance!

Anytime anyone asks me that i usually say 20-30? Of course im guessing but its really hard to say. If you own an Evo you chances are are apart of this site.
I think most of the are outwest. Im on the East coast and anything east of quebec things get pretty few and far between. I know for sure i have the only IX in NB, i herd rumours there was a VIII aswell but i have yet to see it.
The GT4 is the WRC model with the TRD Package, and the guy is the right guy to own one, only the best parts go on it, its white and its never dirty, ever. cleans it daily.... I'd still rather my Evo
