I'm looking to put an external wastegate on my 9mr.
Just not quite sure what size to use.
Looking for more mid range and top end
Any suggestions?

Why and how would you install an external wastegate with your stock turbo and stock exhaust manifold?

Yea, I seen like one person do it before but still why? You won't see any HP gain. Get a better Wastegate actuator or a dump pipe if you are set on this mod and want to hold better boost on top. Your money should be spent elsewhere if you are looking for more power.

I'd stick to the oem style one on the stock turbo, or if you really want to go bigger you can upgrade to FP's internal wastegate.

Not really. Maybe they mean the WG will stay shut longer and give you a bigger boost spike. Just put some more preload on the stock wg arm and you will see the "tq increase" which in reality is only a boost spike.
