The paint chips and scratches really easily. It seems to do this just sitting in a locked garage! WTF! Also, the ride quality is very harsh or shall we call it firm. Rough roads can really toss the car around.

 

I never had problems with my paint due to i take such good care of it. And what do you expect out of a car that was just built to perform. If you want better ride pay more money and get a BMW/Porsche. I think you can pick on alot of things about this car. For example interior is kinda cheap, sound system blows, its loud as **** on the inside of car, no cruise control, no radio control on steering wheel, car has the worse steering radius in the world, but I love my EVO! I bought my car for what it can do, if I wanted something better Id have to spend more than the 30-38k i spent. Just my .02$

 

^ no need for porsche or Bmw, An evo X are a lot better than evo 8,9. Rides, stereo, etc.

 

Same here. I can count the paint chips on one hand, and it's not as if I slow down for much. The paint is polished, burnished, then treated with a multi-layered, highly durable approach to protection. Dirt, road grime, bugs just slide off.

I mention this in almost every one of these threads and ask folks to stop by the detailing board to learn more. Do you know how many folks showed-up in the last 2.5 years? One. Yes, only one Evo owner wanted to learn how to take care of and protect his paint. Reading the posts here, it's as if the paint is supposed to magically maintain itself. Ridiculous.

i dont really dislike anything, but i had to say itd be the taillights but that was an easy fix i just blacked them out

 

small tank is to save weight. You dont want 20 gallon fuel in it.
