blue wire on a/c

There is a small single blue wire that goes to the a/c pump that pulled out. Wondering if anyone has info/help to reconnect that?

The wire did not break nor would I hack and use one of those connectors haha, the blue wire pulled of the small black booot which is why I am unsure as to how to get it back in there. Can that boot be pulled off? Is it crimmped onto a female connector that can be pulled out and pushed back in?

Are you sure it's the A/C compressor and not the Power Steering Pump?

I think he's right because if my memory serves me correctly it is a blue wire that goes to the A/C comp.

Well that describes it a whole lot better than the blue wire came off :P

So if its the compressor it goes from the cap to the pressure switch on the compressor body then back to the compressor clutch. So where did the wire come off at. Pressure switch or the magnetic switch?

If its the steering pump there is a single wire into the back of it. I can't remember what i had to do but essentially I remember having to pull the boot off and solder the wire to the lead on the back.

Hmm now you have me double guessing.. pretty sure its ac comp its the one on the top. It pulled from *inside* the boot. I tried pulling on the boot but it did not comme off and did not want to tear it. There is no tail I can get to to just solder it back together.

That just goes back to the pressure switch use a multi meter and find out with wire is still connected and simply cut and splice back in the broken piece.

If it's the one on top as you stated it's the power steering pump. Or did you mean it's the wire on top?

I cannot get to the peice to splice into it, it is inside this little black boot. Its a blue wire that goes to the back of the pump (which ever one it is) its behind a little heatshield as well. I took my heatsheild off as it didn't fit with my wastegate there needed trimming.

More specific is the pulley is "front" and then the back has that heatshield.
