does anyone know where it is possible to purchase a LHD evolution 7 for use in Canada?

 

only ones that made it to the states were for testing, and the ones for F&F2. All but a very few are crushed. Every now and then the F&F car is on ebay. WAYYY to much for it, And it is tore up

 

that really sucks F&F one is cool, but i was hoping for a completely stock one where i could do my own minor stuff to it. Evos starting getting shipped to NA in 2003, looks like ill have to look for an 8....

 

the 7-9 are same chassis code. the 7 weighs less due to not having all the DOT safety crap. 7 also got the AYC and ACD transfer case. Evo 7 also has the ALS (antilag). We do not get that due to the EPA. 8 is a watered down version of the 7. You can get the parts to convert if you have time and $$$. I have 2 evo 7 turbo setups right now including the ALS system.

ix is gorgeous, im going to do some more research and see if i prefer the fq400 evo 8 or ix

 

F&F's evo was a 7??? cause it had ACD in it...

They were made for the European market in LHD. I've actually seen one in Lima, Peru.

And by the way the poster who said the 8 is a watered down 7, the USDM 8 is watered down.

The japanese 8 and 7 are almost identical, I've owned both. Very minor differences.
