Mr Suspension Fitment

Hey sorry to ask this if it already has been asked but I couldn't find a thread on it. I am selling my Evo IX MR suspension but had to use the top hats for my tein ss coils. The fronts have an extra plate that secures the spring on the MR. Can gsr owners use their stock top hats to fit the MR suspension on their evos?

Thank a million!!!

Tommy

I swapped my stock '05 GSR suspension for '05 MR Bilsteins and added Swift springs that were meant for the GSR. Back when I bought my Swift springs they only had one version for the EVO, now they have GSR and MR springs. Anyway the swap was fine. No issues with the parts interchanging including the spring hats. Hope that answers your question.

I'm fairly certain that the fitment is the same, and the differences in springs are just rates for the Bilsteins, not a different physical fitment. I use the standard Cusco camber plates on my MR struts and GTWorx springs with no issues. All hardware should transfer over.
