I love my 5%!! My buddy has 25% on his and its not to bad at night.

 

I always go w/15%. Looks great to me.

 

20% looks the best to me. Visibility from inside the car has a lot to do with the quality of the tint as well. I have had the 3m in 5% and it was fine. Now I have 20% but its crap quality and becomes difficult to see at night sometimes. I also have 20 on the wifes car which came from the factory (all but front windows). When I did the fronts, in what I assume was a lesser quality, you could tell that the front was much harder to see out from the inside.

 

I have 35% and it looks great on my black evo, color of the car make the tint look darker/lighter also

 

listen bro, no matter what % tint you have your gonna get a ticket. So if your gonna get a ticket why not get 5%. I got 5% and I love it.

 

Ive got 30 on my evo and i think its too light im going to get 5%...Ill just roll down the windows to see at night

 

Illinois legal is 35% so that's what I'm rocking.

 

i have a TB evo with black ssl interior and 30% tint all the way around. Awesome at night, I think a little too light during the day. That being said, not being hassled a ton for having super dark tint is nice too. it does help clean up the car without looking shady.

check out shades of gray, they did my tint and have a ton of pics and you can adjust the tint % to see the difference. just notice it will appear lighter since the pics are against a solid drop and in the shade

 

You should really check the laws in your area first. Just stop in at a community Police station and ask. The law here states that you cant have any tint on the drivers front window, the passenger front window, or the front windsheild. The back three are unlimited.

I went 20% on the back and 30% on the sides. That way its gradually lightens to the front of the car.

5% to me looks lame next to a clear window.

 

30% is nice , is not to light and you are able to see at night time. Keep in mind that the tint varies from manufacturer, some will be darker than others also the color of your vehicle and interior plays a role.

I have 5%. People always try to peek inside my car because it is an EVO... and other EVO owners are curious because I have a VII... I love the privacy I get knowing that others cannot look inside my car. Where it fails is when your dash is shining after it is cleaned, the windows are rolled up, and the sun is shining bright! Good luck trying to look out the side mirrors without seeing the reflection of the dash!!!

Otherwise... 5% FTW
