window tint percentage

window tint percentage

i'm going to get my window tinted. my friend had 5% and that was way to dark. you couldnt see at night at all. i was thinking about 25 or 35. will i be able to see out of the windows at night?

35% you can see out very easily..my gf has 20% on her windows and its a little difficult to see out

I say 30% is overall best for looks and visibility.

i say get around 20% i used to have 5% and it sucked. At night you couldnt see anything.

15% isn't bad at all for driving at night and it looks dark enough

does any body have pictures? i have a black car. so i want a dark look but can see at night. so i'm leaning toward 30%

I would go with 30. 35% is a bit too light during the day, but anything 25% or below will suck for night driving. Could also get you pulled over a lot pending on the laws where you live.

I think 30-35% would be pretty good since I have 20% and it sometimes get tough to see at night, usually have to roll down windows.

I have 20% all around and 50% windshield. It looks really good and helps a lot with the sunlight. The only complaints I have is parallel parking, then I have to roll down my windows.

I liked 30-35% all around for a clean look. 20% all around is pretty damn dark.

If you want a contrast, 20% rear and whatever you like for the front is always nice.

15% looks sweet with a black car, and a nice benefit is that the interior is noticeably cooler in the summer sun.
