Insurance had me pay my deductable and its being replaced today between 8-12 I'll try to get pics before it comes out. I also got new front blades for 20 bucks from insurance lol. It set me back 270 bucks all together.

"Got rocked..."

So your cost for all that mayhem was $270? That's not so bad. What is your deductible, $250 right. Mines like $500. Or, is it $1000? So, when I "get rocked" it hurts alot more than your pain. I've always looked at driving as a "combat sport": Full of eminent danger and possible attacks from other drivers and cars and booby traps (potholes) and shrapnel like rocks and my personal favorite: gravel trucks that 'drip rocks' as they pull in front of you without warning (no signal)! I've even gotten "rocked" driving on a deserted two lane road all by myself. WTF! I swear rocks just hover in the air waiting till a mint windshield comes along to crack!

Why in the world would you have your comp deductible at 500-1000 thats nuts.

Cost me 50 for a new windshield (or any comp claim for that matter) been through 3 of them already. Too many deer in the areas I drive in as well

Seriously look into dropping you comp deductibles depending on your age and driving record.

<shrug> I always opt for full glass coverage on all my cars. It costs very little.

^ GF has full glass coverage on her car. (Geico) I don't remember it being an option from State Farm, It may be though. With a 50 comp deductible I don't worry too much been thinking about dropping it to 0 just for the EVO though.
