Fuel?

Yes. I just bought my 06 evo mr in may. and have been driving it for awhile now. and it was last week, i was going down the highway at about 80mph and at about 4300 rpm i held it there, and the fuel regulator spiked and engine started to jerk. I took it to a guy that used to work on evos and he seems to think its either the rear o2 sensor, or fuel rail are the fuel regulator. I have a walbro 255 fuel pump on it. and k&n air intake typhoon. So does anyone have any advice to this problem?

Ditch the Typhoon intake and you will be fine. By "fuel regulator spiked" I bet you mean you hit fuel cut.

is your evo throwing a CEL code? pull the code. if a sensor is jacked, your car will tell you. go to a pepboys/checkers/autozone and borrow their code reader. take code and search for it on here.

Your intake is fine, it has nothing to do with your car hitting fuel cut.

Do what the other said, and pull your codes and see what it say. Fix what is needed

Is he even talking about fuel cut?

How do you hit fuel cut cruising 80mph and at about 4300 rpm?
