bby..

i have a sunroof but no leather or sound..

i thought only ssl's had a sunroof? any ideas on what to look for?
pics..

If I remember correctly, on all 2003 EVO's (I think only RS and GSR/VIII were the only available at the time) you had the sunroof option without having the full on SSL package. So whoever bought the car new chose the sunroof option. I would think you have the regular VIII or GSR which I dont even think its called that in '03

 

i'm pretty sure all '03s had sunroofs, actually.

Nope, they dont,
i have a 2003 LY Evo, no sunroof.
as far as i know the options were sunroof, and big wing IIRC.
all 03's came with HID's, mine aslo has the intercooler sprayer.

 

it wouldnt be possible that the previous owner either swapped everything out except for the obvious of the sunroof?

 

This is correct. Then the SSL and RS became available in 04.

answer been stated above i used the sprayer like i think 6 times total i wanted a evo for that LOL but rarely used it LOL i still have the switch and everything maybe ill make shift a unit into my new front bumper lol.

GSR? what does that stand for?

i have the sunroof, intercooler sprayer, and i doubt someone traded out all the leather seats? i got it from the original owner

 

Like i stated earlier, there was no packages in 03.
you have a 2003 evo, with the only opiotions in 2003, the large wing and sunroof.
ssl and rs didnt come till 2004.

 

Not sure what GSR stands for. I'm assuming the "G" stands for General. The GSR is the basic model with all the normal "luxuries" such as power windows, electrical mirrors, wing etc.. As stated previously a large portion of the 03 VIII's included sunroofs.
