rotors

I know when it comes to brake pads, they make a huge difference in stoping power and stuff but what about rotors? Right now I have slotted brembo rotors and the are warped so would there be much of a difference if i put some generic rotors on for the time being?

Worse case you can pull the rotors and run a circular sander on them.

rotorpros. and the rotors you have, if they are not under the min. thickness, can be saved. the warpage is not from the rotors, but buildup of pad material on the rotors. cutting them can fix this, but really, you just need to learn how to brake. i bought my car with VERY 'warped' rotors, and after 2 weeks of driving and steady, solid braking, ta-dahhhhh. warp gone. no cutting. i even slapped pads on them twice. stock rotors at 77k/4 years on them. good luck.

If you want to spend the money and track the car.

I myself bought the OEM Brake guides and they work for me.
Now I see they have the stuff on Ebay for half the price...

Yea, stay away from HAWK pads. Head over to the suspension and brakes part of the forum, and read the write up SMIKEVO made about various types of pads and rotors.
