I agree that you probably shouldn't skimp on the intercooler. I have a Buschur front mount that I'm very pleased with. I will say I had to buy a new radiator because I put a small hole in the stock one and I went with the Mishimoto on eBay for $250. I've had it for a year now and it's held up great. My coolant temp logs seemed to drop with this radiator versus the stock one.

Yea.. I just figured that mishi made some pretty good stuff that holds up well. Wondered how their intercoolers held up.

My civic is running a full afi topmount kit... So it should be fun!

my recommendation is if you are staying about 300whp, stick with stock. only if you are going for 350+ i'd switch to a proven design like nisei or buschur etc (NOT ebay or other mishimoto junk)

in another words, stock IC is pretty good.

save up for a quality ic that u know wont leak like a sob when u run more than stock boost on it. Even ets ic's arent to expensive and have good reviews.
