Mishimoto intercooler

ok... so YES i posted this in the GENERAL section... and YES i used the SEARCH function so if your post will be referring to any of the above.. please save it! THANKS!

has anyone used, or are thinking of using a mishimoto intercooler.. i mean their radiators seem to hold up well.

id just like some input... i know they should be a little better than ebay intercoolers.

any reviews?

Whenever the coldside outlet is straight, you more than likely have to have custom UICP done. This is how I wasted $250 on a Godspeed intercooler off of eBay. Get something that is proven and fits right the first time.

I think I am going to go with the OBX Evo specific intercooler. It can be had for about $230 shipped and looks exactly like the Perrin unit and I would bet is 95% as good.

I wouldnt go that route, thought about it myself. Wait for the right deal to come along on a respected brand

your completely wrong...
spend your money how you want, but theres a reason one costs $700 and the other is 230 shipped

I hate everybody who is seriously thinking or who already has a E-Bay intercooler, OBX intercooler, "perrin-look-a-like intercooler", "AMS look-a-like intercooler", ect, ect. The bottom line is they're crap.

EVODreams: I think you calculated wrong, you meant to say 5% as good. Simple mistake, elementary mathematics confuses some of us too sometimes.

I honestly feel for all of you.

I agree, i would MAYBE buy one if i was running like 300whp and not planning on going with any more mods. If you buy a cheap one now and plan on modding in the future you will soon be buying a better intercooler to support your mods. Im not into buying parts twice, thats just my opinion.
