fuel line problem

hi,

i got a problem with my fuel line under the car, at one point its bended because i hit it to a bump while i am passin on it, so now my car runs rich like **** at wot, i think its because of this serious bend.

so is this fuel line (which located next to the brake lines under the car) the return line? or it is something different?

i cant imagine a pinched fuel line causing a car to run rich. if anything it would lean it out

if it is return line, isnt it logic to run rich at the moment of spooling with a sudden wot because the return line dont have enough flow?

but the fuel pressure regulator would take care of the fuel pressure. i dont think a pinched return fuel line would cause more fuel to come out of the injectors. the ECU takes care of how much fuel comes out the injectors, maybe im wrong on this

to be completely sure, hook up a gauge and check the fuel pressure and go from there

Well, if i am not wrong, the ecu can control how long will the injectors be open, and due to bended return line, the pressure might be higher then before at wot so more fuel might be delivered to the engine because the enjectors are the only point which the fuel can go out of the fuel line before the bended return line.

Well ofcourse thats my theory, it might be wrong, tomorrow ill fix the fuel line and check how things go on.

If the problem wont go, ill check the fuel line pressure like u said.

Btw the line i am talkin about (under the car, next to the brake lines, the bigger one) is the fuel return right?

yea your right, the ecu only controls how long the injector opens. i had a brain fart on that one. my bad.
