I'm running ATE Super Blue. It's been in there for alittle over 1 year. I recently bled the clutch, and nothing. I dount I cooked the fluid autox'ing....I dont know anyone who has. THe brakes just dont generate enough heat for that.

I figured might as well start looking at the easy/cheap stuff first and see if thats the problem.

It can't be a fluid issue. I said, I can't get into first and reverse. All the other gear shift easily and smoothly. If the fluids were the problem, all the gears would feel notchy. You have a better recommendation than Amsoil MTG 75w90?

It's not a fluid issue, I have changed the fluid and it's still same.

May I ask how many miles is on your car? I've just been told a bend shift fork can also casue the issue, as it does not allow enough travel. I'm in the process of looking for that. I'm going to just replace it anyway while the trans is down. I have over 100k, so I can see it making sense! Maybe you should look into it also!

I have the same problem, just started around 110K miles. Only 1st and reverse. Trans not abused, oil synthetic - topped up and new. I'm wondering if its a worn linkage/cable problem (stretching due to age) as I assume the trans is actuated thru cables from the shifter....

If it's linkage issue then you will have problem with all gears.
When the vehicle is rolling, i can get into 1st but once stationary then can't get into 1st. I will either put into 1st or reverse before start the engine

ALready did. I have the Evo urethane bushings, and they're fine. Even greased it!
